Man, 53, dies after getting into difficulty in sea

A 53-year-old man has died after getting into difficulty in the water off a south Wales beach.
South Wales Police said they were called to Ogmore-by-Sea, Vale of Glamorgan, at 10:30 GMT on Sunday, and that the man died as a result of the incident.
The next of kin and coroner have been informed, the force added.
The Coastguard earlier said it had also been called to the scene, and that a Coastguard helicopter, rescue teams, RNLI lifeboats, police and ambulances services, including air ambulances, were also sent.
