A university campus has reopened after an unauthorised travellers' site was moved off.
Up to 30 caravans and vehicles parked up on the playing field of Bishop Grosseteste University, off Longsdale Road in Lincoln, on Thursday.
Staff, students and visitors were advised to stay away while the camp remained.
University deputy vice chancellor Tom Dannatt said the group left on Saturday "with the assistance of the police and the issuing of a notice to leave".
Lincolnshire Police worked with university staff and the City of Lincoln Council to manage the situation.
Mr Dannatt said it had been a "particularly difficult time" and thanked those involved in clearing the site.
"The university campus is now open and fully operational with staff, students and visitors welcome to visit and normal activities continuing with immediate effect," he added.
