Watch: On patrol with the London Pigeon Rescue Team
- Published
Pigeons with bulbous feet or no toes are a common sight around London, but a volunteer group is trying to help the birds - who some see as vermin - overcome this problem.
"Stringfoot" is a condition in which pigeons' feet become entangled with foreign matter, such as string or hair, causing their toes to become infected.
Jennie and Jacob are part of the London Pigeon Rescue Team and have saved hundreds of pigeons with the condition.
The pair hope to change negative attitudes towards the birds.
