Man tasered and arrested after police cars rammed

A man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after an incident in Donnington on Sunday morning.

West Mercia Police said a suspect vehicle was found at Walkers Clock Service Station at about 11:30 GMT, after a man was reported to be making threats and possessing a knife.

The force said the car rammed two police vehicles, and the occupant tried to make off on foot before being tasered.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, criminal damage, possession of class B or C drugs, possession with intent to supply class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and driving whilst under the influence of drugs. He remains in police custody.
