A new housing development could be built on fields in a village.
Plans have been submitted to Fenland District Council for 60 new homes on land off Coates Road, in Coates, Cambridgeshire.
If permission is granted, bungalows and houses would be built behind existing homes along the southern side of Coates Road.
The proposals were submitted after outline plans were approved in 2022 for up to 60 new homes at the site.
If approved, the development would include a mix of two-bedroom bungalows and two to four-bedroom houses, with a new access road planned next to 208 Coates Road.
According to the developer, each two and three-bedroom property featured at least two parking spaces, and four-bedroom homes offered a minimum of three.
The site was rated 'flood zone one' - the lowest risk area for flooding - which the developer said supported its suitability for development, the Local Democracy Reporting Service reported.
The plans added that homes would be built using a "fabric first" approach, exceeding building regulation standards, and would include renewable energy features.
It also said off-site improvements would ensure minimal impact on existing residents.
