Man charged after suspected acid attack in pub

A 22-year-old man has been charged by Kent Police following a suspected acid attack in a town centre pub.
The force said it was called to a "disturbance" at Ye Arrow on Rochester High Street at 22:15 BST on 13 September.
A man was allegedly assaulted and a "corrosive substance" was thrown that landed on his face, it continued.
Alfie Russell, from Clifton Road, Hornchurch, in London, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of an offensive weapon, according to Kent Police.
The force said he has been remanded in custody and was due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
A 23-year-old man from Wickford, Essex, a 19-year-old man from Purfleet-on-Thames and a 21-year-old man from Upminster were previously arrested in connection with the incident.
They remain on bail while inquiries continue, Kent Police said.
Officers said a man had been taken to a local hospital for treatment after the incident, adding that his injuries were not life-threatening.
