A Jersey church is holding a fun day to raise money for a planned new community centre.

St Matthew's Church on St Aubin's inner road is inviting people for live music, pizza, and bouncy castles from 12:30 BST on Sunday.

It is the beginning of fundraising for the Hope Centre, a project to build a community space next to the church.

The church estimates the centre could cost £12m and would include a coffee shop, counselling rooms, and youth rooms.
