A third teenager has been charged following a stab attack in Middlesbrough.

The 17-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries in the assault in Phoenix Park, Hemlington, on 30 April.

Cleveland Police said an 18-year-old male will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Two others, aged 17 and 19, have also been charged with attempted murder in connection with the same attack.
