The space will offer a range of support and learning opportunities to residents, businesses and community groups

A new teaching and community space has been opened by Keele University in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The building, known as Keele in Town, is located on Ironmarket and marks the first time the university has operated in the town.
Partly funded by government money as part of the Newcastle Town Deal, it is expected to be used by university staff and students who work flexibly, as well as providing a place for small groups and businesses to meet.
It is also expected to host adult education classes, run by Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.
The colleges group is partnering with the university and will offer sessions in English and Maths, as well as introductory digital, health and social care, and teaching assistant courses.
