A teenager has died at an indoor go-kart track in Staffordshire.

Emergency crews were called to reports of a man, in his late teens, in cardiac arrest at TeamSport Go Karting Stoke in Burslem at about 20:15 GMT on Friday.

He was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the venue. The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner will be informed, Staffordshire Police said.

A spokesperson for TeamSport Go Karting said staff were "deeply saddened" by the death of a customer adding that thoughts were with his family and friends.
