A police officer is to face a misconduct hearing over claims he failed to investigate a complaint of a serious sexual offence.
Giving notice of the hearing, North Yorkshire Police said PC Adam Bray was accused of breaching professional behaviour standards when he responded to a domestic incident on 5 August 2022.
It is alleged PC Bray was "dismissive" of the victim's concern for her safety and welfare as well as that of her young daughter.
A misconduct hearing will be held at North Yorkshire Police HQ in Northallerton on 3 March.
The force said if the allegations were proven they amounted to gross misconduct.
