The mother of the first female officer in the Army's most senior regiment, who died in a car crash last week, has said the family are "devastated" by their loss.
Capt Elizabeth Helen Godwin, 28, was part of the Life Guards, which is within the Household Cavalry.
The crash, between a Nissan and a BMW, happened at about 20:00 BST on Friday, on the A322 Lightwater Bypass, Surrey Police said.
The other driver, a 30-year-old man from Bracknell, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and being unfit to drive through alcohol, and has been released on bail.

Capt Godwin participated in the King's coronation
Capt Godwin's mother said: "We are devastated by the loss of Lizzie and ask for privacy at this deeply distressing time."
Commanding Officer Lt Col Tom Armitage previously paid tribute to the 28-year-old, calling her "a tough and talented young officer".
He said: "Her sudden and untimely death leaves a huge void for all of us in the Household Cavalry.
"She will be remembered by us all as a lively, fun and dynamic officer with a very bright future ahead of her."
Capt Godwin joined the Life Guards in 2020, winning the Sword of Honour at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as the best of her intake.
She played polo and hockey for the Army and took part in ceremonial duties, including the late Queen Elizabeth II's funeral and the King's coronation.
Surrey Police has appealed for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
