Two men have been arrested after armed police were called to reports of men fighting with weapons in Leeds.

Officers received multiple calls at 17:10 BST on Thursday reporting a number of men fighting on South Farm Road in Gipton.

Two men aged 37 and 40 have been arrested on suspicion of affray, West Yorkshire Police said.

They were both injured and taken to hospital for treatment but were later discharged.

Another man was also found injured at the scene, police said.

The force is appealing for anyone with information or video footage of the incident to get in touch.
