Teenage driver seriously injured in A362 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash.

Wiltshire Police said the collision, which involved a Volkswagen Polo and a Mercedes E350, happened on the A362 between Longleat Roundabout and Frome, at Corsley Heath at about 23:10 BST on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old driver of the Volkswagen was later taken to hospital while the driver of the Mercedes and a passenger, suffered minor injuries.

The force said the road remains closed while they carry out enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone who may have dash cam footage are encouraged to contact police.
