A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body at a property in West Yorkshire.

The body of a 59-year-old man was found at an address in Park Road, in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, on Thursday.

West Yorkshire Police previously said officers had been called to the house at about 20:20 BST following reports of "a sudden death".

The 56-year-old arrested man had since been released on conditional bail, the force confirmed.

Police said investigations were ongoing, and asked for anyone with information about what had happened to contact officers through the 101 service or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
