A man suffered "life-threatening injuries" in a crash on a busy flyover, police have said.
Emergency services were called to Red Hill Way in Leicester just after 23:00 GMT on Tuesday after a blue Volkswagen Caddy overturned on the road.
The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital and the flyover and a slip road remained shut in both directions until about 07:25 on Wednesday, Leicestershire Police said.
The force said it was continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.
PC Ellise Timmins, from the force's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We're continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the collision occurring this morning and would like to speak to anyone who can help.
"I'm particularly keen for anyone who captured the incident or the van's movements on a dashcam to come forward.
"I would also like to speak to anyone who saw the collision occur."
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews to the scene.
