Building work to construct flats on the site of a former Debenhams store has been completed.
The student accommodation, which took three years to build, is on the Drapery in Northampton.
Debenhams collapsed in 2021, leading to the closure of its 101 stores in the UK.
A department store has existed on the site since 1871, but the store was rebuilt by Debenhams between 1958 and 1962.
It is the first of three former department stores in Northampton set to be demolished and turned into flats.
The ex-BHS and Marks & Spencer buildings on Abington Street will both be torn down for a new building, with work due to start later this year.
