A drug dealer who had a £17,000 stash of cocaine has been jailed.

William Watton-Roberts was arrested after States of Jersey Police officers found 51.3g (1.8oz) of the Class A drug in a St Helier property on 18 August 2023.

In February 2025, the 35-year-old from Chester - who had been living at the Jersey property - pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.

During a hearing at Jersey's Royal Court on Thursday, Watton-Roberts was sentenced to four years in prison and given a £1,069 confiscation order.
