Islanders have been invited to create "a river of orange" by joining a 5km charity walk in Jersey.

A bright orange dress code has been issued for the Brighter Futures Jersey walk, which will take place at Le Frégate on Saturday from 09:00 BST.

It is hoped it will help raise awareness for the charity's work and to show support for the families it helps.

The charity said: "Whether you walk, waddle, run or dance your way through the 5km, every step you take helps us shine a light on the importance of community and connection."

"Bring your friends, your family, and bring your brightest orange. Let's make it a morning to remember."
