Murder charge after body found in missing man search

A man has been charged with murdering a 54-year-old who went missing from Tunbridge Wells.

Wayne Woodgate was last seen entering a van in Goods Station Road on 17 October.

His body was found on Wednesday at a rural location in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, on Wednesday.

Stephen Castle, 59, of Matfield, Tunbridge Wells, was charged and remanded into custody on Thursday evening, Kent Police said.

He will appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
