Members of the Mexican National Guard and the Mexican Army confiscate ladders used by human traffickers to cross the border wall into the United States during a patrol. A canal in a suburb of Argentina's capital Buenos Aires turned bright red this week. Local media reports suggest the colour may have been caused by the dumping of textile dye, or by chemical waste from a nearby depot.
