A cyclist has died after he was struck by a car on a town high street, police have confirmed.
The collision happened on High Street in Maltby, near Rotherham, on Saturday at 18:25 GMT.
South Yorkshire Police said the victim, a 50-year-old man, was cycling from the direction of the junction with Braithwell Road when he was involved in the crash with a pink Peugeot 208.
He died at the scene and his family have been informed.
A force spokesperson said: "We're keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, has footage of the collision, or was in the area at the time."
