Woman seriously injured after being hit by car

Police are appealing for witnesses after woman in her 60s was hit by a car.

Officers were called to reports of a crash involving a red Kia Picanto and a pedestrian on 22 July at around 14.50 BST.

The crash happened at the junction of Winchcombe Street and the A46 in Cheltenham.

The woman, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

Gloucestershire Police said several members of the public were in the area at the time and have asked those who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
