Police appeal after murder of man in Port Glasgow

Police are appealing for information following the murder of a man who was found seriously injured on street in Port Glasgow.
Jack Trainner, 27, was found on Brookfield Road, Port Glasgow, at about 21:05 on Saturday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are treating his death as murder.
A police spokesperson said an "extensive investigation" was under way.
Det Ch Insp Graham McCreadie, from the Major Investigation Teams, said: “Jack's family and friends will continue to be supported throughout our inquiries. It’s vital we find out exactly what happened to him and I’m appealing to the public for help to do that.
"If you have any information that may assist officers with their inquiries, then please get in touch as soon as you can.
“We would also like to view any private CCTV or dashcam footage from the area and between 18:00 and 23:00 on Saturday."
There will be an increased police presence in the area while the investigation is carried out.
