Cornwall Pride has returned to host its 50th event.
The celebrations took place in Falmouth and included what is thought to be the world's largest pride flag.
Following a march through the town, live singers, comedians, dancers and drag queens performed at Falmouth Event Square to show support for the LGBTQ+ community across the county.
Cornwall Pride said: "Falmouth Pride is set to be a beacon of the celebratory spirit and unity on this historic 50th Pride Day in Cornwall."
Host organisers added that a number of local organisations and representatives were in attendance to show their "love and support".
The march started at about 12:00 BST at The Prince of Wales Pier and finished at Event Square outside the Maritime Museum.
Lydia Sadler, director of community events group Queer the Decks, said a lot has changed since she first moved to Cornwall.
"I sort of felt a little bit like the only gay in the village slightly, there wasn't that much happening, it felt a little bit isolating to be honest," she said.
"Now things just feel completely different.
"I love doing this because it makes me feel so joyful seeing other people just letting their guard down."
Ms Sadler said all were welcome to the event, which finishes at 19:00 BST.
"We welcome queer people, but also allies, so if you fall under that bracket in any way, then you're welcome."
