Metal pole attack prompts witness appeal

A man was injured when he was hit with a metal pole in a Nottinghamshire town.
Police said the man was attacked in Skegby Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, at about 17:40 GMT on Tuesday.
He was treated in hospital for a shoulder injury not thought to be life-altering, the force said.
Anyone with information or footage has been asked to come forward.
