Riverside restaurant up for sale after closure

A restaurant on the banks of the River Severn has been put up for sale, three months after it closed suddenly due to a lack of revenue.
Terrace Charcoal Grill and Lounge Bar, in Shrewsbury, was open for 14 months before shutting up on 30 September.
Its owner James Yurky said at the time the business had been experiencing financial difficulties for about six months before the announcement.
Offers in the region of £550,000 are being accepted for the property, which is located on Smithfield Road.
The Terrace opened on 15 July 2023, offering food and cocktails on an outdoor dining terrace, and a lounge bar.
A winter roof was later added to its outdoor dining terrace, and a smaller bar was built below it, level with the river.
Mr Yurky had said the closure was prompted when the venue did not make enough money to cover its payroll over the weekend of 28 and 29 September.
"I'd hoped this weekend would make enough money. But payroll was £17k and we generated about £5k," he said on social media.
