A young child was airlifted to a London hospital after falling from a cafe window, the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said.

Kent Police said officers were called to a Caffe Nero in Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, at 14:25 GMT on Friday to support paramedics.

The child fell approximately 15ft (4.5m) and was conscious at the scene, SECAmb said.

Caffe Nero has been contacted for comment.
