Opening hours for the public counter to assist with personal tax returns have been extended as the deadline approaches, the treasury has confirmed.
People who have not yet submitted their forms have been warned they face a fine of £100 if they miss the 6 October cut off date.
Staff will be available at the counter in Government Offices to help with queries for an extra hour each day until 17:00 BST each day until Thursday, and again on 5 October.
Those with outstanding forms have also been encouraged to register to complete it online.
A treasury spokesman said 65% of personal income tax returns were not being filed online.
However, those who require a duplicate paper return have been advised to contact the tax division "immediately", so it can be issued and submitted before the deadline.
Paper returns can be put through the letter boxes at the front entrance to the government building on Prospect Hill.
If the return has not been received by the the income tax division by 6 April 2026, a further £200 penalty would be charged.
"Even if the penalties are paid, the return must still be submitted and people may be prosecuted for failing to do so," the spokesman added.
