Motorcyclist seriously injured after crashing into car

A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries after crashing into a parked car.

Gloucestershire Police said the incident occurred shortly after 17:30 BST on Saturday on Netherend in the village of Woolaston, near Lydney.

The rider, aged in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by paramedics, officers said.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, or anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area to get in touch.
