Man, 19, dies as car hits tree near Beverley

Officers say three people, all aged 19, were taken to hospital following the crash in Burshill near Beverley

A 19-year-old man has died after a car hit a tree, police have said.
Humberside Police was called at 22:10 BST on Monday to reports of a crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa on Hempholme Road in Burshill, near Beverley.
Two men and a woman, all aged 19 and travelling in the car, were taken to hospital, where one died of his injuries, the force confirmed.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of careless driving, causing death by driving whilst unlicensed and causing death by driving whilst uninsured.
She was later bailed as officers continue their investigations, the force added.
It has appealed for witnesses to come forward. The condition of the other teenagers was not disclosed.
