Teenager charged over Stonehaven street stabbing

A teenager has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Stonehaven.
Officers were called to the Aberdeenshire town's Market Square at about 20:15 on Saturday following reports of a serious assault.
The 18-year-old, found injured at the scene, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police Scotland said a 17-year-old boy had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Officers said inquires were ongoing and urged anyone with information to get in touch, external.
Det Sgt Niall Mullen said: "This is being treated as an isolated incident and there was no risk to the wider public."
