A five-vehicle motorway crash caused delays of more than an hour for drivers during the morning commute.

Three out of four lanes were closed on the westbound M62 between Bradford and Leeds after the collision at about 06:45 GMT on Wednesday.

National Highways said queues on the carriageway stretched back to J27 near Gildersome at its peak, causing delays of up to 80 minutes.

West Yorkshire Police said no serious injuries were reported, with the road completely reopening at about 10:00 GMT.
