Man and dog die in severe house fire

A man and a dog have died in a severe house fire in the Black Country.
The man, in his 80s, was found by emergency services inside a dormer bungalow on Elizabeth Walk in Tipton after they were called to the scene just before 06:20 BST on Sunday.
About 50 firefighters tackled the blaze, which had damaged the ground floor and upper areas of the property.
An investigation to determine the cause of the fire is still ongoing, West Midlands Fire Service has said.
