Appeal after man, 92, attacked at bus station

Police are appealing for witnesses after an attack on a 92-year-old man.

The force said the victim was picked up from a bench and dropped to the floor by four youths at Clay Cross Bus Station in Derbyshire.

The group grabbed the man, lifted him over the bench and then dropped him to the floor.

The incident took place in Clay Cross between 11:00 and 12:00 BST on 31 August, and police have now called for help to trace his attackers.

A spokesperson for the force said anyone in the area at the time should make contact.
