Drivers face second M25 slip road closure weekend
- Published
Drivers travelling through Surrey face another weekend of slip road closures at the M25/A3 junction.
While the main carriageways remain open, drivers will not be able to join or leave either road at junction 10 of the M25 and have been urged to follow diversions to avoid Ulez zones.
The slip roads will be closed from 22:00 BST on Thursday until 05:30 BST on Friday, then from 21:00 BST on Friday until 06:00 BST on Monday.
This is the second of three weekends of planned closure, as work to expand the junction continues.
Drivers are being urged to follow the diversions closely to avoid entering the greater London ULEZ, operated by Transport for London, for which older vehicles would be charged.
Details of the diversions are available on the National Highways website., external
The closures are part of a three-year £317m project to update the junctions.
The next set of slip road closures are due to take place between 1 and 4 November.
Some of the work planned to take place in 2024 will now be carried out in 2025.
