A county's social workers who work with children and people with mental health issues have been highlighted as "shining examples" of the profession.
Social workers from Lancashire County Council's children's and adult social care teams have been recognised for their dedication to supporting vulnerable members of the community.
The accolade is part of the The British Association of Social Workers Amazing Social Workers initiative.
The association said it was "shining a spotlight on the countless examples of exceptional social work practice in the UK", nominated by their peers.
Mairead Gill-Mullarkey and Lancashire's mental health management team have been recognised along with Nancy Livesey who is a children with disabilities service team manager.
Ms Gill-Mullarkey said her team - which includes social workers, occupational therapists and psychologists - was "absolutely thrilled" to be included in the national showcase for their profession.
Ms Livesey said: "I am incredibly lucky to work with a team of dedicated and passionate social workers, who go above and beyond to support the children and families we work with."
County councillor Graham Gooch, cabinet member for adult social care, said: "Mairead and her team play a vital role in supporting people with mental health conditions.
"Our social workers make sure that they listen to people and support them to make decisions about their future."
His colleague county councillor Cosima Towneley, cabinet member for children and families, said it was a "well-deserved accolade for a tremendous team".
"We love to celebrate the successes of the children that Nancy and her team support, so to see their efforts being recognised is wonderful.
"Nancy and her team give a voice to families and children who need support."
