Richard Gregory appeared at Boston Magistrates' Court charged with causing death by careless driving

A man has appeared in court following the death of a pedestrian in Lincolnshire.

Gary Stephens, 63, died after he was hit by a car while crossing Anchor Lane, Ingoldmells, near Skegness, on 12 August 2023.

Richard Gregory, 57, of Chapelfield Crescent, Rotherham, appeared at Boston Magistrates' Court earlier charged with causing death by careless driving.

He has been released on unconditional bail and is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 2 July.
