Two kittens have been saved after being abandoned in a sealed plastic bag on a beach in Penzance, rescuers say.
The 11-week-old brothers were found by a walker and taken to a vet in the town in Cornwall.
A vet checked the kittens and found that one had a heart murmur.
On Sunday, the pair were handed over to Sally's Cat Rescue in St Austell, which is raising funds for a heart scan.

Sally Olford described the pair of kittens as "a lovely bundle of joy"
Sally Olford, who runs the rescue shelter, told the BBC: "If people are going to do that and feel there's no other way, put them somewhere public, write a note, let us know they're there.
"If the kittens hadn't been found, it would've been a much worse ending for them.
"This was someone who just wanted to end their lives and get rid of them."
The kittens were placed in her care after spending a week at the vets in Penzance.
"They're a lovely bundle of joy, so it's beyond belief someone could do something like this," she said.

A full heart scan for each kitten, including Jack Sparrow (pictured), would cost about £800
