Children prepare for city's lantern parade
Meet the children getting ready for Gloucester's annual lantern parade
- Published
Schools and community groups across Gloucester have been preparing for the city's annual lantern parade.
This year's theme is Community in Nature and people have been busy building ornate willow lanterns that were set to illuminate the city on Saturday 15 November.
The parade has been a part of Gloucester's Christmas preparations for many years and large crowds were expected to head to the city centre to watch it go by.
Children from Upton St Leonards Primary School were among the groups turning their designs into a reality for the special occasion.
