A drug dealer has been jailed after police found cocaine hidden inside a cigarette packet in his car.

Uranik Jonuzi, 23, of no fixed address, was pulled over by officers in Newmarket Road in Cambridge on 21 December.

Inside the car they found 12 bags of cocaine and £810 in cash, and later discovered a further two wraps of the drug in his shoes.

On 19 January he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and was jailed for two years and four months at Peterborough Crown Court on 1 February.

Det Con Leah Beckett, from Cambridgeshire Police, said: "Jonuzi had been previously seen driving his Ford Fiesta around the city late at night and when officers stopped him, he couldn’t explain why.

"We’re committed to identifying those dealing drugs in our community and putting them before the courts."
