Men charged after £30,000 of Vodafone stock taken

Three men in their 20s have been charged in connection with the theft of an estimated £30,000 of stock from a Vodafone shop.

Suffolk Police said it was taken from the shop on the High Street in Newmarket at about 09:30 GMT on Christmas Eve.

The store's staff were described as "shaken, but unhurt".

The force said a vehicle linked to the incident was found in the London area later the same morning and Met Police arrested three men.

A 25-year-old man from London has been charged with burglary, theft, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.

A 26-year-old man from Kent and a 21-year-old man from London have both been charged with burglary and theft.

They appeared before magistrates in Ipswich on Boxing Day.
