A teenager has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the leg.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called to a bus stop in Stapleton Road, Bristol, at around 23:00 BST on Thursday.
A 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The stabbed teenager has since been released from hospital and police have put a 48-hour dispersal order in place for large parts of the Easton area.
Officers are also investigating a nearby assault which happened on Tuesday, after which a teenage boy was taken to hospital.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said they were "conscious" of the proximity of the two incidents and said officers were looking to establish if there was a link between them.
Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Green said: "These are extremely concerning incidents and we are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and identify those responsible.
"A police cordon remains in place in Stapleton Road and officers will be carrying out increased high-visibility patrols in the area over the coming days.
"A dispersal order has been put in place for a large part of the Easton area for the next 48 hours which will allow police officers to move anyone on who they believe could contribute to crime, disorder or anti-social behaviour."
