Two hospitals have installed rainbow crossings to celebrate "inclusivity".

The bright new crossings have been painted at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH) and Cheltenham General Hospital (CGH).

Hospitals bosses said they were "immensely proud" to be supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues and patients.

"These floor paintings show our commitment to inclusivity, openness, and accessibility for all," a spokesperson for Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said.

The LGBTQ+ flag has also been raised at GRH.

In June, communities across the county came together to show their support for Pride month

Pride in Gloucestershire has now put in a bid to host EuroPride in 2027 and Wotton-under-Edge held its first Pride parade.
