Spectrum Leisure Centre has plans to install new water features

  • Published

A leisure pool in Surrey is to close for three weeks to allow for the installation of a new interactive water feature, complete with multiple slides and water jets.

The pool at the Guildford Spectrum will temporarily close from 25 November and will reopen on 16 December.

Freedom Leisure, which runs the centre, said it has scheduled the work for its quietest time of the year to minimise disruption.

The not-for-profit leisure trust said over the past two years it has "invested over £650,000 into enhancing the pools" at the centre.
