Woman, 36, in court charged with attempted murder

Police said the incident happened on Saturday

A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder.

Police said officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Marquis Road area of Aberdeen in the early hours of Saturday.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Claire Johnston, 36, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder and robbery. She made no plea and was released on bail.
