Arrest after man injured in seafront stabbing

A man is in hospital following a stabbing on Brighton seafront.

Sussex Police received a report of a man with a knife in Marine Parade shortly before 09:30 BST on Wednesday.

A man was arrested in connection with the incident and taken into police custody, the force said.

The force said it also received report of a stabbing nearby, in which a man was injured, which is being treated as linked.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information is urged to contact Sussex Police.
