Councillors and residents met on 31 October after the steel framework for the hub was built

Work is under way to build a £3.5m community hub in Kimberley.
Situated on Newdigate Street, the building will replace the old parish hall, which was demolished in June.
The hub is planned to be an events venue and new office for Kimberley Town Council and local businesses, the council said.
Tony Mason, councillor and mayor of Kimberley, said "It's brilliant to see work progressing so quickly on our new hub building. We're sure that the new building will be a great asset to the community at large."
The building is due to be completed in autumn 2026 and has been funded through the government's levelling up fund.
It will provide facilities to host local events and bring income into the town through seminars, conferences and recreation, added Mason.
