Man charged after passenger death crash

A man will appear in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving, Lincolnshire Police said.

Forrest Burgin, 28, of Eyre Chapel Rise, Newbold, Chesterfield, has been summoned to appear before magistrates.

A man in his 20s, who was a passenger in the white Mercedes, died following the single-vehicle crash, which happened on the A153 between Horncastle and Dalderby on 22 June, 2023.

Mr Burgin will appear at Boston Magistrates’ Court on 3 April.

Police opened an investigation after being called to the scene at about 20:45 BST.

Two other people were also injured in the crash.
