Buses will be unable to run on a key Bristol route due to construction works.

Dalby Avenue in Bedminster will be closed overnight until 7 June, excluding the weekend, to a number of services as a result of works on the road.

First Bus said the 24, 70, 75, 76, m1 and A1 services will all be affected by the closures.

Routes running from the city centre to Bedminster only will be diverted via St John's Road, Catherine Mead Street, Dean Lane and Cannon Street.

The 24 bus will run as normal from Dean Lane roundabout.

While the route is closed, no bus stops in Bedminster Parade and Dalby Avenue will be served.

Customers are instead advised to use the stops on Catherine Mead Street or St Johns Road, to the rear of Asda.
